KARACHI: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi has dispelled recent concerns regarding visa restrictions for Pakistani citizens.
Addressing reports of difficulties faced by residents of Sindh in obtaining UAE visas, Dr. Remeithi assured that there are no new restrictions in place.
In a video statement, Dr. Remeithi emphasized that Pakistani businessmen, laborers, and individuals traveling for medical purposes are receiving all necessary assistance for their visits to cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. “The UAE has always maintained strong cultural, religious, and trade relations with Pakistan, and provides full support for Pakistani applicants seeking visas,” he stated.
To further assist travelers, Dr. Remeithi announced the launch of a special awareness program at the Karachi Consulate. This initiative aims to guide travelers on avoiding prohibited items and ensuring their luggage is packed correctly to prevent any issues.
Additionally, Dr. Remeithi revealed that the UAE will soon introduce a new program tailored to the business community. This program will offer comprehensive support for those looking to conduct business in the UAE or facilitate UAE companies’ ventures into Pakistan.
