KARACHI: Two TikTokers have been arrested in the Sindh capital for accidentally killing a man while filming a TikTok video.
In this regard, SSP Malir said that TikTokers had shot a man named Qamar Raza standing outside his house. According to details, Malir City Police in an operation arrested the TikTokers involved in the unplanned murder.
SSP Malir Irfan Bahadur said that the arrested accused are between 14 and 15 years of age who accidentally shot a victim named Fazil, a citizen who was standing outside his house.
SSP Malir said that the bullet which hit Qamar Raza at Ghazi Chowk in Jaffar Tayyar area of Karachi 7 days ago, injured the victim who lost his life the next day during treatment.
Police conducted a raid on technical grounds and arrested two suspects and recovered weapons and a motorcycle used in the incident. The suspects also mentioned two other accomplices during the interrogation. Raids are being carried out to arrest two more accomplices of the accused.
In this regard, SSP Malir Irfan Bahadur said that the arrest of the accomplices of the accused is expected soon. The arrested accused Saeed Ahmed and Fazil Ali were handed over to the investigating authorities for further questioning and the recovered weapons were sent for forensics.
