BANNU: Two people were killed in a bomb blast in Bannu on Sunday.
According to the police, two people were killed when a bomb fitted to a motorcycle went off in the jurisdiction of Baka Khel police station in Bannu.
Police and other law enforcement agencies reached the site and started the rescue operation.
Meanwhile, Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani condemned the deadly bomb blast in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Expressing their deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved families.
