KARACHI: Two people, including a woman, have been killed when a bus carrying travelers to Iran collided and met with an accident on the Northern Bypass.
According to details, the pilgrims’ bus met with an accident on the Northern Bypass in Karachi due to heavy fog. Two people, including a woman, were killed and 13 others were injured when a passenger bus collided with a truck.
The injured were given medical treatment after the accident took place last night. The four people injured have been discharged from the hospital after relief. Some of the injured had to be shifted to Jinnah Hospital due to lack of facilities at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
According to rescue officials, the injured included six women who were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Passengers on the front of the bus traveling from Karachi to Iran were most affected.

Earlier, five people were killed and more than 20 injured in a collision between a bus and a trailer of pilgrims returning from Chehlum near Hyderabad. The bus was traveling from Karachi to Khairpur.
Two months ago today, on 29th September, a bus traveling from Karachi to Khairpur met with an accident on the Super Highway in Nooriabad. According to rescue officials, the injured included women and children.
