Twitter review: ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is well intentioned sensitive piece of work

Bollywood movie Satyaprem Ki Katha has been released to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Released on June 28, the movie starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani addressed important social issues in the movie. Now social media users are talking about and praising it and some people have a different opinion; let’s have a look:

Last night I watched this movie and the way I can connect with katha is unreal. Also that particular line “saari duniya jala du me ek teri aanshu me” hits so hard. I think we all need a sattu in our lives who’ll accept our own raw selves.

Takes a long time to arrive at it’s conflict & 1st half is below par but gets the relationship and drama done well in 2nd with a good ending… Could have reduced the usual rom-com parts!

Another favorite from this year. I already love Kiara & I’m starting to like Kartik – he was too good as Sattu.

finally watched #satyapremkikatha and it truly is one of the better films that’s come out of Bollywood in a while. Kartik and Kiara devoured their roles, it’s cute, funny, yet packs that emotional punch that had me in tears. just so well done with beautiful songs. loved it

The track that is playing in the background is just fabulous.We need more movies like Satya Prem Ki Katha, which is a rom-com entertainer, and at the end, it ended with a big social issue.
