In a tragic incident in Karachi, an electric pole suddenly fell on a motorcycle, resulting in the instant death of the rider, while his wife and daughter were seriously injured, as reported by national media on Saturday.
The incident occurred near Karsaz on Shahrah-e-Faisal. The deceased has been identified as Jameel, who died immediately after the accident.
Following the incident, local residents removed the pole from the road on a self-help basis. The injured woman and child were shifted to the hospital in critical condition.

According to sources, the child’s condition is reported to be critical. Residents stated that the pole had been in a deteriorated condition for several years, but the local administration took no action.
The residents blamed K-Electric’s negligence and incompetence for the tragic death and demanded that all worn-out poles in the area be removed immediately to prevent such accidents in the future.
