Authorities have announced a three-day closure of schools due to heavy snowfall in Galyat and five districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.Â
According to a notification from the Education Department, all educational institutions will remain closed from March 4 to March 6, 2025. Similarly, schools across five districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Neelum Valley, will also be shut down as blizzard conditions continue. The decision aims to ensure student safety, as persistent snowfall and freezing temperatures have made travel extremely hazardous.
