A speeding Prado, driven by a young woman, crashed into a car and motorcycle on Karachi’s Karsaz Road, resulting in the deaths of two people.
According to police and rescue sources, the incident occurred when the white Prado, traveling at high speed, lost control, hitting a motorcycle, another car, and several pedestrians before overturning onto a service road.
Police and Rangers intervened to protect the driver from an enraged crowd and launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
The woman, identified as Natasha, was taken to the police station. Authorities have confirmed that Natasha is the wife of prominent businessman Danish Iqbal, ARY News reported.
Eyewitnesses claim that the woman behind the wheel was intoxicated and attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by bystanders.
Rescue teams arrived quickly, confirming that two people died instantly, while four others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
