KARACHI: Three suspects have been killed during an exchange of fire with police in the Orangi Town area. The suspects opened fire on police as they tried to flee on a motorcycle.
According to details, three accused were shot dead by police in Orangi Town. Three people, including a minor and a policeman, were injured during the encounter.
The three suspects were found trying to flee on a motorcycle during a snap check. When the police tried to stop the accused, the accused opened fire and the police had to retaliate. As a result of the retaliatory firing of Karachi police, 3 accused lost their lives on the spot. Three injured persons including a policeman and a child were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
It should be noted that street crimes are increasing in Karachi with the passage of time. The accused commit robberies, mobile snatching, and snatching from citizens in broad daylight. Police are facing difficulties in rooting out crime.
It may be recalled that earlier four accused were injured during an alleged police encounter in an area of Karachi.
