Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan was released two years ago, on January 25, 2023. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone played important roles, strengthening the character of Pathaan, the hero, portrayed by SRK.
According to a report, Pathaan star John Abraham revealed in a 2024 podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia that he initially earned Rs6,500 after completing his MBA. Before entering Bollywood, he pursued modeling and appeared in commercials and music videos.
John made his Bollywood debut in 2003 with the movie Jism, starring alongside Bipasha Basu and Gulshan Grover. His filmography includes Dhoom, Kaal, Garam Masala, Taxi No. 9211, Kabul Express, New York, and more.
Dostana (2008), co-starring Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, is one of his popular films. Pathaan (2023), alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, is one of his biggest hits. He was last seen in Vedaa (2024).

On the work front, his upcoming film, The Diplomat, is based on the true story of an Indian diplomat. Directed by Shivam Nair, the film is set to release on March 14, 2025. It features Sadia Khateeb, Revathy, Kumud Mishra, and Sharib Hashmi. John has also hinted at returning as Jim in a Pathaan prequel.
