KARACHI: At 16, when most teenagers are busy making friends online and offline, Salman Ghauri is making Rs 6 lakhs per month from Amazon. No surprise that the interest in making money online from the safety of our homes is now on the rise.
Talking to M.M News, the 16-year-old digital marketer shares how he started his online journey. “I started my journey back in November 2019 from Content Writing. My father used to scold me for wasting my time wandering and wanted me to focus on something productive and creative,” he said.
“In June 2020, my cousin told me about Amazon and Enablers, he talked to my father about enrolling me in Enabler’s VA course and what I did not know was that decision was about to change my life,” he added.
“I had two options. First, PL, which is a private label under which we create our own brand on Amazon, or the services option in which you are a VA and sell your services,” he added.
According to Salman, he got enrolled in Enabler’s Virtual Assistant course in June 2020. “Before completing my course, I got my first client for listing audit and optimization, and I efficiently completed the task,” he added.
Talking about the hurdles he faced during his journey, the 16-year-old said he faced a lot of problems due to his age. “Clients were worried about how this kid could grow our business and sometimes I had to hide my age,” he added.
“Everything brings a new lesson and what was my weakness yesterday has become my strength today. The fame and success I have today is all due to my young age,” he said.
Salman further said, “We offer our services to two types of customers. One who has time but no method and the other who has method but does not have time, so we offer our services to such people and try to grow their business on Amazon.”
