Bilal Lashari’s directional epic drama ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ has become the all-time highest-grossing Pakistani movie worldwide in just the first week of its release. Â
The movie which features Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan had a great opening weekend at the box office. The reboot of the 1979 classic cult movie was released on October 13.
Now as per the compiling overseas data, The Legend Of Maula Jatt in the first week collected Rs. 83.30 crores alone surpassing Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2 which collected Rs. 75 crores approximately.
The Legend of Maula Jatt’s budget is between Rs 45 to Rs 55 crore, which makes it Pakistan’s highly budgeted film so far. Despite not being released on weekend, the movie earned almost Rs 10 crores within two days of its release.

The movie grossed Rs113 million (US$ 526,902) in the domestic market despite not being shown at all cinemas across the country. In its opening weekend, the big-budget film collected Rs509 million (US$2.3 million).
It ranks number one at the UAE Box Office, number six in Canada, number eight in Australia, and number nine in the UK. The movie stars Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Humaima Mallick, Faris Shafi, and Ali Azmat, among others.Â
