World-famous American models Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid have recently made a surprising revelation that they have a half-sister named Aydan Nix.
Gigi and Bella, who are known for their modeling careers and Palestinian heritage, revealed that their 23-year-old half-sister is the daughter of their father, Mohamed Hadid, and a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull.
This relationship came about after Mohamed Hadid’s divorce from Yolanda Hadid (Gigi and Bella’s mother) in 2000. A brief relationship followed, which resulted in a pregnancy.
Aydan was born and raised in a suburb of Orlando, Florida. She was raised by her mother, Terri Hatfield Dull, until Aydan took a genetic test following the death of her presumed father when she was 19 years old.
According to Gigi and Bella, they met Aydan for the first time in 2023, after she took a genetic test that confirmed her biological connection to the Hadid family. At that time, Aydan was studying at Parsons School of Design in New York City.
They further said, “We welcomed Aydan with open hearts and are happily embracing this unexpected but beautiful addition to our family. She has spent time with all of us, including our father. We siblings have had many open conversations and included Aydan so that together, we can make the best decisions to support and protect her.”
The Hadid family emphasized that they respect Aydan’s privacy and request the public to do the same, as she wishes to live a quiet life in New York while pursuing a career in fashion as a designer, stylist, and influencer.
