A new movie titled ‘The Exorcist: Believer’ which is a sequel to the horror film ‘The Exorcist’ is all set for theatre release.
A follow-up helmed by David Gordon Green, ‘The Exorcist: Believer’ is an upcoming American supernatural horror film It is the sixth installment in The Exorcist franchise, and will serve as a direct sequel to The Exorcist (1973). Here is everything we know so far about the movie:
The Exorcist
The original ‘Exorcist’, based on William Peter Blatty’s novel, tells the story of Regan (Linda Blair), a young girl who undergoes strange changes when possessed by a demonic entity, and her mother (Burstyn), an actress seeking the help of priests to help perform an exorcism on her daughter.
The Exorcist: Believer
This movie features not one, but two demonic girls who become possessed after being saved from a supposed kidnapping.

The film stars Leslie Odom Jr., Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, Norbert Leo Butz, Lidya Jewett, Olivia Marcum and Ellen Burstyn.

Release date
The Exorcist: Believer is scheduled to be released in the United States by Universal Pictures on October 13, 2023.
