Renowned scholar Dr. Zakir Naik has expressed gratitude to Pakistani authorities for the warm reception he received during his visit to Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference in Rawalpindi, Dr. Naik thanked Allah, the government of Pakistan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik for inviting him and taking care of him .
Dr. Naik praised the federal government, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, the government of Punjab, and the Governor of Sindh for their exceptional arrangements, stating that he received ten times more welcome than he expected.
He noted that this was his first official visit to Pakistan since 1991 and that people and religious institutions expressed love and warmth.
During his visit, Dr. Naik observed the strong bond among Pakistanis, citing the Quran’s message of holding onto Allah’s rope. He mentioned that his decision to visit Pakistan was made after receiving numerous invitations from universities and institutions. Security arrangements were also commendable, making him feel safe throughout his stay .
Dr. Naik concluded by expressing his hope that his visit would strengthen the Muslim community’s bond and promote the Quran’s teachings. He thanked everyone involved in making his visit successful and memorable .
