QUETTA: A young man named Jibran was reportedly stabbed to death in Quetta near a petrol pump on Zargoon road on Friday evening.
The 17-year-old was stabbed in the throat on the main road and was taken to hospital but succumbed to his death due to excessive blood loss.
Jibran was reportedly involved in a fight with a man named Hubair Khan Kakar over a petty dispute. Kakar was harassing a female friend of the deceased teenager and was allegedly drunk and high on drugs when he stabbed him.
Jibran’s friends claimed that Hubair Kakar belongs to an influential family of doctors and commissioners and there are high chances of the case being sidelined.
Many have taken to social media to spread awareness about the incident and have started trending the hashtag #JusticeforJibran on Twitter. They urged law enforcement agencies to take action and provide justice to the teenager.
