KARACHI: The much-awaited Hum TV’s drama ‘Chupke Chupke’ has finally been released, giving fans a glimpse of the star-studded light comedy.
The drama was supposed to air in Ramadan last year but the shooting was halted due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The shooting is now completed and is all set to hit our television screens this Ramazan.
Chupke Chupke has an all-star cast including Ayeza Khan, Osman Khalid Butt, Mira Sethi, Mani, Ali Safina and renowned YouTuber Arslan Naseer, who is making his acting debut. The drama is directed by Danish Nawaz and written by Saima Ikram.

Saima Akram said, “After Suno Chanda, the production team wanted to create another script that is a light comedy. The characters are very interesting that I’ve worked very hard on.”
“It’s a story of two families of a man, who has two wives. However, in his life and even after his death, the two wives do not get along well for obvious reasons. The rift forms the crux of the story but it has been dealt with in a light manner,” she added,
According to the writer, she has tried to encourage the idea of family systems in our culture. “I have tried to keep it different from Suno Chanda but my writing and style of comedy are very much there,” she concluded.
