KABUL: In Taliban attacks following air and ground attacks by Government forces on the Islamist Group on the weekend, over 29 people from the Afghanistan security forces were killed.
The increase in violence indicated that the peace talks between US and Taliban negotiators in Doha were deadlocked, the Afghan Defense Ministry on Sunday said 51 Taliban militants had been killed by government forces in the weekend.

However, the Taliban struck down on Tuesday night, the Taliban militants attacked the afghan check post in Northern province of Kunduz in which 15 security personnel were killed.
Safdar Muhseni, president of the provincial council said that the Taliban also targeted a police station on Monday night in Pul-e-Khomri, capital of the neighboring Baghlan province, where they killed 14 policemen.
While the provincial police spokesman Ahmad Jawed Basharat said, the multi-pronged attack occurred in Khwaja Alwan district of Baghlan province early on Tuesday.
