Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina is all set to make his acting debut in a Tamil film.
Raina will be seen on the big screen receiving full mass-hero treatment, complete with dramatic low-angle shots and cheerleaders welcoming him into the frame.
According to Indian media reports, the renowned production house Dream Night Stories has announced Suresh Raina’s debut film through a video, which is currently being referred to as “Production No. 1.” While this may eventually become the film’s official title, no confirmation has been provided yet.
The film is being directed by Lokesh, popularly known in the Tamil film industry for successful movies such as “Maan Karate,” “Remo,” and “Gethu.” The film’s teaser was launched at a grand event attended by several prominent figures from the Tamil film industry.

Suresh Raina is fondly called “Chinna Thala” by fans due to his long association with the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
While, no official release date has been announced, the first glimpse of Raina’s cinematic journey has already sparked interest among filmgoers and cricket fans alike.
