During the ongoing rise in sugar prices in the country, a shocking revelation has come to light that sugar mill owners have earned Rs. 300 billion from the recent fluctuation in sugar prices.
According to details, during a Public Accounts Committee meeting chaired by Junaid Akbar, the Auditor General stated that Rs. 300 billion were earned due to recent changes in sugar prices.
Riaz Fatyana claimed that the nation was deceived out of Rs. 287 billion. The whistleblower, Punjab’s Cane Commissioner, was sidelined.
