KHARTOUM: The plane that was going to evacuate civilians in Sudan has been shot at.
According to the international media, firing was done on the Turkish planes coming to take the citizens trapped in Sudan, but there were no casualties as a result of the firing.
According to the Sudanese authorities, the Turkish plane was fired upon during landing. The plane safely landed in Saydna Valley. The shooting happened in the suburbs of the capital Khartoum.
The Ministry of Defense of Turkey, while confirming the shooting incident on the plane going to evacuate Turkish citizens in Sudan, said that efforts will be continued for the safe evacuation of Turkish citizens trapped in various cities of Sudan.
On the other hand, the Sudanese army and the rebels have blamed each other for firing on the Turkish plane.
