An engineering student from the Indian city of Bangalore has developed a new (AI) tool to make round roti in a unique combination of technology and tradition.
According to Indian media, student Animesh Chauhan created AI software called Roti Checker.AI, which created a stir on social media. The matter came to light when an X user shared a picture of round roti, in the caption of which he wrote that ‘Making round roti is also an art’, in response to which Chauhan introduced his created AI tool.
Later, a challenge was given by the creator, which said that if the post gets 420 likes, he will make this link, i.e. the AI software, publicly available. After which the post went viral quickly, resulting in an increase in Google searches for “roti maker”.
The tech expert said that he created the AI Roti Checker as a joke in his free time. Now he is looking for people to invest in this project and are ready to offer good returns. Social media users made funny comments on this discovery of Chauhan.
One user wrote that America has ChatGPT, China has DeepSeek and India has RotiMeter.ai.
