A ship in Karachi that was stranded for nearly weeks in Karachi has been finally freed.
The news was shared by Special Assistant on Maritime Affairs Mahmood Moulvi on his Twitter account that a cargo ship stranded on the shores of Sea View in Karachi, has been successfully rescued.

Last month, a ship, loaded with containers, came ashore due to high waves and got stuck at Karachi’s Sea view due to a weak engine. The ship will finally be recused on the fifth day after Karachi Port Trust’s (KPT) refusal to salvage the ship from shallow waters, citing an inability to do so.
