American rapper Macklemore has unveiled his latest single, “Hind’s Hall 2,” in support of the Palestinian people amid the ongoing US-backed Israeli occupation and siege. In the track, he calls on the Democratic presidential nominee to “stop sending money and weapons” to Israel and its actions in Gaza.
The single features Palestinian artists Anees, MC Abdul, and Amer Zahr. Macklemore directly addresses Vice President Kamala Harris, saying, “Hey Kamala, I don’t know if you’re listening, but stop sending money and weapons, you ain’t winning Michigan,” referencing the important swing state with a significant Arab American population.

The lyrics proclaim, “We are committed, and hell no we ain’t switching positions, because the whole world turned Palestinian,” highlighting the song’s message.
Released on Thursday, “Hind’s Hall 2” follows the first edition of “Hind’s Hall,” which received widespread acclaim in May. The original song was named after a building at Columbia University that students occupied and renamed in honor of Hind Rajab, a 6-year-old Palestinian girl killed in Gaza.
According to Macklemore’s Instagram, all proceeds from “Hind’s Hall 2” will benefit the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), just as the proceeds from the first song did.
