KARACHI: SSP Shikarpur Dr. Rizwan has filed allegations in the Sindh High Court against Provincial Minister of Sindh for Energy Imtiaz Shaikh.
He filed a written response in SHC where several allegations were made against Imtiaz Shaikh and against SSP’s transfer orders.
Dr. Rizwan in his statement said that when he took charge of Shikarpur district as an SPP on 24th August last year, Imtiaz Shaikh and the local MPAs pressurize him over illegal tasks. According to Dr. Rizwan, Imtiaz Shaikh kept himself safe by being surrounded by guards and gunmen.
Dr Rizwan has claimed that even the local police are involved with Shaikh and due to that several raids have been filed against him to few policemen.
“If I take action against Shaikh, he threatens to suspend me and not only this he has been involved illegally occupying the government’s properties,” the SSP claimed.
He further claimed that Imtiaz Shaikh has contacts with the mafia and people who oppose him get kidnapped.
