The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has confirmed that there will be no gas load shedding in Sindh, including Karachi, during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
According to the company’s statement, gas supply will remain uninterrupted throughout the festive period, offering relief to residents.
The exemption from load shedding will be in effect from the evening of Chand Raat (the night before Eid) until the third day of Eid.
Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be celebrated nationwide on Monday, March 31, 2025, marking the end of 29 days of fasting during Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet today, Sunday, the 29th of Ramadan, at 6:00 PM to observe the moon sighting for Shawwal
Regional Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meetings will also be held in provincial capitals. The official moon sighting announcement will confirm the date for Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations across the country.
