The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced its gas supply schedule for the holy month of Ramadan in Karachi, interior Sindh and Balochistan.
SSGC, responsible for the transmission and distribution of natural gas in Sindh and Balochistan, assured customers of uninterrupted gas supply during Sehar and Iftaar.
“SSGC extends heartfelt wishes for a blessed Ramadan to its valued customers and remains committed to ensuring a smooth gas supply for Sehar and Iftaar preparations,” the company stated.
However, it also highlighted that the country’s natural gas reserves are depleting at an annual rate of 10%, further widening the demand-supply gap.
To manage gas pressure effectively, SSGC will implement gas pressure profiling from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and again from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM throughout Ramadan.
