RAWALPINDI: A Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom on Monday after terrorists targeted security forces’ post in Spinwam, North Waziristan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), the military’s media wing said.

Following the terrorists’ move, the troops had initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, the ISPR said, adding, “”During intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Saifullah (resident of Karak) embraced shahadat,” it added.
The military’s media wing further said that an area clearance operation was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area. In a similar incident earlier this month, a soldier embraced martyrdom after terrorists targeted security forces’ post in Ghariuom, North Waziristan.
