For this special day of their Nikah, Maimoona wore a golden lehenga from the fashion house ‘Shemina Wardrobe,’ and her husband wore a sherwani.
In her post, Maimoona posted a rare glimpse of their Nikah day with the caption ‘Alhamdulillah.’
The invitation card, that was also circulated, confirmed that the Nikah was done on April 2nd in a private ceremony conducted in Islamabad. Social media personality Maimoona Shah and Muhammad Taha have now legally exchanged their vows.
Earlier in January 2024, a video went viral in which a father asked his daughter’s permission to get married, which became extremely popular because of the emotional dialogue between the two. The emotional dialogue soon went viral and received admiration from many.
The girl in the video was none other than Maimoona Shah, who, following the popularity of the video, became engaged to her boyfriend, Muhammad Taha , making their relationship official.

Her father initiated talk of marriage consent in the video. In the video, she is asked by her father, “What do you wish?” She responds with, “If you are happy, I am happy.” Her father answers, “I’m happy, but are you happy?” She insists, saying “Your happiness is my happiness,” before hugging her father, then later hugging her mother in celebration.
