PESHAWAR: The Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) has developed the first-ever Smart Thermal Detector walkthrough gates in Pakistan to fight against coronavirus epidemic.
People walking through the Smart Thermal Detector walkthrough gates will be automatically sprayed with disinfectants before entering the areas.
The cost-effective and easy to operate walkthrough gates are locally developed by Peshawar Water and Sanitation Services engineers jointly with Tevta team. Theses gates have the ability to send online data to the control room that will show on a dashboard.
The Smart Thermal Detector walkthrough gates are also installed with dedicated cameras for monitoring. The walkthrough gates will be fitted on all government offices, including Civil Secretariat Peshawar, CM House, Police Lines, Peshawar Development Authority, local markets and mosques in the province.
No one will be permitted to enter the buildings or places without passing through the Smart Thermal Detector walkthrough gates.
The Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar has been battling against COVID-19 on frontlines with health and security personnel to control the spread of the deadly disease.
