KARACHI: Six England cricketers will arrive in Karachi today to participate in Pakistan Super League season 7.
England cricketers are arriving in Pakistan after participating in the series against West Indies. Players coming to play PSL include James Vince, Jason Roy, Phil Salts, Saqib Mahmood, Harry Brook, and Chris Jordan.
England’s Dan Lawrence, who was included in the Quetta Gladiators as a partial replacement, has been released from the team. It is to be noted that the series of interesting matches in PSL 7 will continue till February 7 at the National Stadium Karachi while the matches for the second phase will start from February 10 in Lahore and the final will be played on February 27.
Preparations have been started for the second phase of the event in and around Nishtar Park Sports Complex in Lahore, where cleaning and renovation work has also been intensified.
Additional lights are being erected around the stadium, parking lots are being marked and roads are being painted, traffic lines have been installed and sidewalks have been painted. 19 matches will be played in Lahore including the final on February 27.
