ISLAMABAD: Singer Jawad Ahmed has paid tribute to the doctors and paramedical staff who are treating the coronavirus patients.
The singer paid tribute to doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff by singing his famous song, “Humein tumse pyaar hai”(We love you).
He also urged the citizens to hoist white color flags on their rooftops to show respect and solidarity with them. “At this difficult time, I and the whole nation salute to these courageous doctors, paramedics and nurses in the fight against coronavirus,” he added.
“Let’s celebrate solidarity day on this Friday, with these great doctors, paramedics, and nurses by hoisting the white color flag on our rooftops,” said Jawad Ahmed.
Earlier, Actress Mahira Khan also appreciated healthcare workers’ services during the coronavirus outbreak across the country.
She took to Instagram on and share an “appreciation post” for doctors, nurses and more who are working on the “front lines” to fight the pandemic.
“At this point when we are all at home and worried, anxiety runs high. Think about those who already suffer from other health ailments – physical and mental,” she wrote.
