Singer Hadiqa Kiani sued for hair loss by client

FAISALABAD: Singer and songwriter Hadiqa Kiani has been sued for Rs. 20 million over alleged hair loss by a client who claimed damages after she visited the singer’s beauty salon.

The client identified as Zahida also demanded a compensation of Rs2.5 million worth of expenses from the owner of the Hadiqa Kiani Salon’s franchise based in Faisalabad.

The woman claimed in the lawsuit that she suffered hair loss after visiting the beauty salon for a straightening treatment. She further alleged that it was the use of harmful creams that caused her hair to fall out, distorting her appearance.

In this regard, Kiani has been summoned by the court along with Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, as well as the district health officer on 16th December. The franchise owner said they would file a reply in the court over the matter.
