KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has convened a meeting of the provincial task force on the issue of coronavirus cases reaching 35 percent in the Sindh capital.
According to sources, members of the task force, Sindh Health Department, and health experts will attend the meeting to discuss the ongoing situation in the city.
Earlier in the day, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had said that the number of corona cases in Karachi was increasing rapidly but the decision regarding lockdown would be taken on the instructions of NCOC.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah inaugurated Asif Rehman Simulation Lab at Dow University of Health Sciences. Talking to the media on the occasion, the Sindh Chief Minister said that the situation in the city was under control at present and the pressure in hospitals had not increased.

The chief minister said that the number of patients on ventilators in the province is also low and the burden on ICUs or hospitals is not increasing.
Replying to a question, the Sindh Chief Minister said that our views are on NCOC regarding restrictions on educational institutions.
