KARACHI: Governor Sindh Imran Ismail while announcing his resignation from his post said that he will step down from his office as soon as Shahbaz Sharif takes oath as prime minister of the country.
According to details, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail while addressing a protest rally of PTI in Karachi said that he would resign from his post as soon as PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif was sworn in as the Prime Minister.
Addressing the rally, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail saluted Imran Khan for taking strong stance on the ‘threatening letter’. Imran Khan said that go and tell the people of Karachi what has happened. Our ambassador received a letter, he added.

Addressing the gathering, the Sindh governor said that the threatening letter conveyed the message that if Imran Khan was not removed from the post of Prime Minister, the consequences would be dire.
During the speech, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail announced his resignation and said that when Imran Khan gave a protest call, everyone came out of their homes and termed it a victory in this war for Pakistan.
