KARACHI: There was widespread destruction, houses collapsed in different cities and villages, crops were destroyed and 263 people died as a result of various incidents due to rains and floods in Sindh province.
According to the details, the rains and flood lanes caused havoc in Sindh during the recent monsoon season. At least 32 more people died in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 263.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) stated that due to the recent floods and rains, more than 228,000 houses were damaged in Sindh while the cotton crop standing on 15 lakh acres was affected.
It should be noted that earlier Foreign Minister and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited the flood-affected areas in Sindh and reviewed the relief activities in Larkana, Nodero, Shahdadkot, and Qamber among other areas.
During the visit, the foreign minister assured the flood victims of solving their problems. On this occasion, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that flood victims in Sindh will not leave alone.
