The provisional results for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) retake in Sindh have been officially announced, as reported by a private TV channel on Sunday. Candidates who appeared for the MDCAT 2024 retake can now access their results online on official SIBA website.
Muzammil Ahmed remains the top scorer, with 192 out of 200 marks in the MDCAT reconduct of Sindh.
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has set the cut-off scores for admission to medical and dental programs. For MBBS programs, the required cut-off score is 55 percent, while the cut-off score for BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) programs is 50 percent. These cut-off scores have been used to compile the provisional results for the MDCAT 2024 retake.
Candidates who wish to raise any objections or submit reservations regarding their provisional results can do so via email, as per the instructions from the authorities.
The MDCAT 2024 retake exam was conducted on December 8, 2024, across six cities in Sindh, offering another opportunity for students who had previously been unable to secure a place in the medical or dental colleges.
To check their results, candidates can visit the official website of the Sindh MDCAT and enter their credentials to view their provisional scores.
