ISLAMABAD: The hearing of the case related to conducting elections on the same day across the country will be held today in the Supreme Court.
The hearing of the case related to holding elections across the country on the same day in the Supreme Court will be heard today, a 3-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial will hear the case at 11:30 am.
The 3-member bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial includes Justice Ijazul Hasan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar.

It should be noted that notices were issued to all parties including the Attorney General of Pakistan and political parties yesterday.
Apart from this, the Supreme Court yesterday issued a written order for the hearing on April 27 last week on the request to hold simultaneous elections in the country. The Chief Justice of Pakistan wrote a three-page order.
In the written order, it was said that the court did not give any direction to the political parties to negotiate, the negotiation on behalf of the political parties is their own effort, and the order to hold elections on May 14 remains in place.
