RAWALPINDI: A case has been registered against two men for sharing obscene pictures of a woman, from the Sheikhupura district, on social media, according to the victim.
According to details, the woman, identified as Parveen Bibi, filed a complaint with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Gujranwala alleging that her neighbours secretly clicked obscene pictures of her and demanding money in this regard.
Talking to M.M News, Parveen Bibi alleged, “Our neighbours, Moazzam Abbas and Zeeshan secretly clicked my obscene pictures and shared it on Facebook.”
The victim further informed that after uploading the pictures, their accomplice Khurram Nawaz and Ghulam Abbas started blackmailing her and demanding Rs 500,000.
After filing an application, the FIA Cyber Crime Gujranwala filed case No. 03/2020 against the accused. The suspects have not been arrested yet. “The accused are constantly threatening me with dire consequences for filing the case with FIA Cyber Crime,” she added.
The victim has appealed to Director-General (DG) FIA and other higher authorities to take notice of the case and arrest the suspects involved in this crime as soon as possible.
