Following the nomination of Senator Anwaarul Haq Kakar from Balochistan as the country’s caretaker Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, the outgoing premier left the PM House in Islamabad and headed for Lahore on Saturday.
Although the National Assembly (NA) had been dissolved on August 09, but Shehbaz Sharif stayed at the PM House for another three days to finalize the name of the caretaker prime minister.
Both Shehbaz and Raja Riaz held several meetings to finalize the name for the coveted post but without any result.
After selecting the name for interim PM, Shehbaz Sharif left the PM House and headed for Lahore in a special plane.
