ISLAMABAD: Senior PML (N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has termed the head of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as ‘culprit’ and has vowed to settle score with him.

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad on Monday, he recalled his earlier statements and said that abolishing NAB was imperative for the survival of the country. He said he had been coming to accountability courts for several years and appeared for more than 70 times but to no avail. He said “had there been anything substantive against me, there would have been the result till now.”
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said difficult decisions were taken by the current government to save the economy, and claimed “we have saved the country from going bankrupt.” He further claimed that the present government had stabilized the economy.

He regretted that fake corruption cases were registered against the PML (N) during the PTI government and urged upon former Chairman NAB Justice (R) Javed Iqbal to confess his wrong-doings.
