ISLAMABAD: Chairman PTI Imran Khan has said that an attempt is being made to obtain a statement against me from Shahbaz Gill, who was arrested on the charge of making a statement based on rebellion.
According to details, former Prime Minister Imran Khan said in a statement that former Special Assistant and PTI leader Shahbaz Gill should not have made such a statement. Looking at the statement, it seems as if they are inciting the army.
The Chairman PTI said that we want to see Pakistan Army strong. The statements of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, and PDM chief Fazlur Rehman should also be examined, he said.

It should be noted that Shahbaz Gill was performing his duties as Chief of Staff of Bani Gala, the residence of Imran Khan. Imran Khan said that Shahbaz Gill was mentally tortured. “An attempt is being made to take a statement against me,” he maintained.
Police will request further physical remand of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill for investigation. The hearing on the bail application of Shahbaz Gill will be held today in the session court, while the Islamabad police could not present the record of the case.
