KARACHI: Pakistan cricket team’s vice-captain Shadab Khan has praised captain Babar Azam and said that the players will sacrifice their lives for him.
Talking to media after arriving in Karachi for the series against West Indies, the all-rounder credited Babar Azam for the team’s consistently excellent performance and said that a new life has come to the national team because of Babar Azam. Making decisions points to the fact that he is an inspiring leader, Shadab noted.
Shadab Khan says that whenever there is a problem, the captains are always there to support their teammates. He said that due to the attitude of Babar Azam, the team was reduced to one unit and every player was able to perform.
Talking about former batting and bowling consultants of Pakistan cricket team Matthew Hayden and Vernon Flanders, Shadab Khan said that Matthew Hayden is a big name in cricket as he has spent limited time with us but has made us mentally strong.
