A fire broke out near the old vegetable market in Karachi, burning goods of various shops, causing the loss of millions.
According to details, the fire that broke out on the plot near the old vegetable market today allegedly reached the shops. A fire broke out in clothes, school bags, general store, and bag shop.
Firefighters and rescue workers rushed to the scene as soon as the fire was reported. Efforts were made to control the fire which has destroyed equipment kept in all the shops. Officials say no casualties have been reported so far in the blaze, but the shops have lost millions to the business community. Efforts are underway to control the fire.
It may be recalled that earlier a fire broke out in the premises of a building on II Chandragiri Road in Karachi. Due to the fire, clouds of smoke spread far and wide in the air.
A fire broke out at the rear gate of GPO on II Chandragar Road during the day on November 30 last month. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire brigade and rescue personnel rushed to the spot.
