PARIS: Several people are reported to have been injured in knife attack at Paris Gare du Nord train station on Wednesday morning.

Local media reports suggest police used their weapon to neutralize the attacker. Media reports said the incident took place at 6:40 am local time.
“It happened around 6:40 am, inside the station . A security perimeter has been set up,” officials said.
Officials further said that the traffic of main lines, TER, RER and Ile-de-France trains departing from and arriving at Gare du Nord is therefore disrupted.
The attack reportedly took place in front of the Five Guys fast food restaurant . The injured people were evacuated by paramedics rushing to the scene.
Eye witnessed told local media that at least six people were injured, including a border police officer, before the attacker was neutralized.
