ISLAMABAD: Senator Afnan Ullah has said that corruption was at its peak during Imran Khan’s government regime and if he was not removed from the post of prime minister, the country could have defaulted.
According to the details, while talking on a private TV program, Senator Afnanullah answered various questions from the host Adil Abbasi. Senator Afnanullah said that there is a background behind the deterioration of the current country’s economy.
Senator Afnan Ullah said that if Imran Khan had not been expelled, the country could have defaulted long ago. The PML-N government completed the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program in 2016 following a conspiracy.

He said that under the conspiracy, Imran Khan imposed on the country and later claimed every day that the country would default. Imports are causing damage to the country’s economy, he said by adding, “The country did not default during the 75 years, it happened in four years.”
