Security forces have killed five terrorists associated with the Indian-sponsored network “Fitnah-al-Hindustan” in two separate operations in Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
One of the intelligence-based operations was conducted in the Loralai district, where troops engaged a terrorist hideout. “During the operation, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralised after an intense exchange of fire,” the ISPR reported. A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the site.
The statement noted that the eliminated militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities, including deadly ambushes on the N-70 highway near Rarasham on August 26, 2024, and February 18, 2025, which collectively claimed the lives of 30 civilians.
“These terrorists were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies and had been under constant surveillance,” the ISPR added.
In a separate operation in Balochistan’s Kech district, one more terrorist linked to the same network was killed.
The ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s firm resolve to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism and bring all perpetrators and their facilitators to justice. “Pakistan’s security forces remain unwavering in their commitment to safeguarding national security and ensuring lasting peace,” the statement concluded.
