The Commissioner Karachi allowed cattle markets at designated locations in Karachi for the sale of animals for Eid-ul-Adha and imposed a ban on illegal cattle markets in the city.
The Commissioner Karachi has also ordered the imposition of Section 144 against illegal markets, while a complete ban has been imposed on setting up illegal cattle markets from May 9 to June 9.
Markets have been approved in various areas, including Cattle Colony, Mangopir, and Mandira Goth. In addition to this, markets will be allowed at specific places to prevent traffic and security problems in urban areas.
It should be noted that strict orders have been issued to the market organizers regarding cleanliness, security, and noise prevention, and an effective system for disposing of animal remains and waste has also been imposed in all markets. Action will be taken against violators under Section 188.
