KARACHI: All schools have reopened across Sindh on Monday after a hiatus due to the coronavirus situation under strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
In a notification, the School Education and Literacy Department had last week allowed in-person classes for six days a week in all government and private schools and educational institutes.
The schools have been allowed to remain open six days a week with 50% attendance of students on alternative days. The heads of educational institutions have been directed to ensure 100% vaccination of teachers and other staff members.
All educational institutions have to ensure 100% compliance with SOPs and random PCR tests will be conducted by the health department as and when required.
