KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will be closed tomorrow on account of ‘Bank Holiday’.
The State Bank of Pakistan in this regard issued a statement, “All banks /Development Finance Institutions (DFIs)/microfinance banks (MFBs) shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on the above date.”
However, all employees of banks /DFIs/ MFBs will attend the office as usual. Meanwhile, the SBP declared that all banks were ordered to keep their related branches open till today to facilitate the special payment for Government transactions.
